Turmeric is a healing spice and has numerous health benefits. It is used in small quantities in most meat and vegetable curries, lentil and rice recipes. It embodies a strong flavor and a beautiful color. I use it in almost everything I cook; the philosophy is that if we continue to add healing and natural ingredients to our body only then we can expect our bodies to stay healthy and strong.
