This is another delicious recipe to use as an appetizer or for lunch, simple, easy and delicious!
We love mushrooms so decided to use sautéed mushrooms, White Jasmine Cumin Gouda and Parmesan for the filling.
Puff Pastry Mushrooms Pizza (makes two pizzas)
Puff Pastry sheet – thawed and cut in half
2 cups mushrooms – sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup White Jasmine Cumin Gouda, shredded
1 cup Parmesan, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
Heat the oven at 400 degrees. Place the puff pastry sheets side by side on a baking tray. Heat a saucepan, add a tablespoon olive oil. Add mushrooms. Lightly sauté the mushrooms. Set aside. Sprinkle White Jasmine Cumin Gouda on each pastry sheet, an inch away from the edges. Layer the sauce mushrooms on top of the cheese. Sprinkle parmesan on top of the mushrooms. Sprinkle some green onions. Place the baking tray in the oven for 15 minutes or so or until the pastry puffs up and is golden brown. Serve warm.
